What is the dress code?

The dress code for our celebration is Formal / Black Tie Optional. Please see the "Dress Code" tab.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors in the gardens. Dinner and the reception will follow indoors.

What will the weather be like in Miami in April?

April in Miami is typically warm with evening temperatures around the mid-70s to low-80s.

Are children invited?

Our wedding celebrations will be adults-only.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your invitation will indicate whether a plus one has been reserved for you. We ask that only those listed on the invitation attend.

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Yes. We ask guests not to use phones or cameras during the ceremony. Once cocktail hour begins, we would love for you to take photos and enjoy the celebration.

Are the garden pathways easy to walk on in heels?

Fairchild’s garden paths are mostly paved, but please note the ceremony and cocktail hour take place outdoors.

When should guests plan to depart?

The reception will conclude at 12:30 AM. We hope you will stay and celebrate with us throughout the evening!

Are there any venue guidelines we should be aware of?

Guests should plan to enter Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden through the South Entrance.
