Travel

Airport

We highly recommend flying into Miami International Airport (MIA), as it is the most convenient option for our hotels and wedding location.

Where to Stay

We recommend staying in Coconut Grove or nearby Coral Gables, which will keep you conveniently located to the weekend’s events. We have no room blocks, but here are some options we recommend nearby.

Courtyard by Marriott Miami Coconut Grove

$$$ · Coconut Grove

2649 South Bayshore Drive, Miami, FL 33133

Hampton Inn Miami-Coconut Grove/Coral Gables

$ · Coconut Grove

2800 SW 28th Terrace, Miami, FL 33133

Four Points by Sheraton Coral Gables

3861 SW 40th Street, Coral Gables, FL 33146

getting around

Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout Miami, and a rental car is not recommended for the wedding weekend. We will be providing an Uber code for wedding day transportation, additional details will be shared closer to the wedding.

When to Arrive

We recommend arriving in Miami by Saturday afternoon so you have time to settle in. If your travel allows, please come by The Bayshore Club!

Guests traveling internationally may wish to arrive a little earlier to allow extra time for the flight.

Dress Code

FORMAL / BLACK TIE OPTIONAL

Guests are welcome to dress within a romantic palette of jewel tones, rich brights, deep warm sunset hues, refined neutrals, black, and elevated patterns. We kindly ask guests to avoid pastels, pale or spring-inspired shades, ivory/cream, and tan or beige suits.

Above all, we want you to feel amazing in what you wear!

Q + A

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors in the gardens. Dinner and the reception will follow indoors.

What will the weather be like in Miami in April?

April in Miami is typically warm with evening temperatures around the mid-70s to low-80s.

Are children invited?

Our wedding celebrations will be adults-only.

Are the garden pathways easy to walk on in heels?

Fairchild’s garden paths are mostly paved, but please note the ceremony and cocktail hour take place outdoors.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your invitation will indicate whether a plus one has been reserved for you. Due to our intimate guest count, we’re unable to offer a plus one to everyone. As the wedding date approaches, we’ll be happy to accommodate additional guests if space becomes available.

Is there a registry?

Your presence is a gift in itself, honestly! If you'd like to celebrate with a gift, we've included links below toward our honeymoon fund.

What if I’m having trouble RSVPing?

Please search using the first and last name of someone included in your invitation. If you’re unable to find your party or believe there may be an error, please reach out to us and we’ll be happy to help.

Things to Do

photo

In our short time exploring Miami, these are a few places we’ve personally enjoyed and would recommend if you have some free time while you’re here.

EXPLORE

Little Havana

Experience Miami’s Cuban culture along Calle Ocho.

South Beach

Spend an afternoon at Miami’s iconic white-sand beach.

Everglades Airboat Tour

Take a half-day trip into the Everglades for an airboat ride to see alligators.

La Birria Bar - Wynwood

Veronica’s favorite burger in the world! Great Argentine-style burgers and definitely worth a stop.

Pura Vida Miami

A great spot for breakfast or lunch with smoothies, bowls, salads, and a laid-back coastal Miami vibe.

Honeymoon Fund

In lieu of a registry, we are happily saving toward a honeymoon following our wedding. If you would like to contribute, you may do so using either of the QR codes below, Zelle for USD or ING for EUR. Your generosity is warmly appreciated, but your presence at our celebration is truly the greatest gift of all.
